Tinos goes by what the caller describes: damage that is still happening during the call, such as a spreading water leak, is handled as an emergency, while a request that can wait follows the usual path, with an appointment or a callback. You can specify in your instructions what counts as urgent in your line of work. If someone is in danger, Tinos asks the caller to dial 15, 112 or 18 right away.

Tinos takes the caller’s name and number, tells them their request is going straight to your team, and emails you the summary as soon as the call ends. If you have set up a transfer rule for these situations, Tinos can also put the call through live to the person you chose. Tinos does not offer an appointment for an ongoing emergency, so it is not pushed back to the next day.

The call is not lost. If the intended person does not pick up within 15 seconds, or does not take the call, Tinos takes it back, notes the message and the callback number, then sends you the summary as soon as the call ends, stating that the transfer went unanswered.
