Terms of Use

Last updated: 2026

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using the Tinos service, you fully and unreservedly accept these Terms of Use. This acceptance constitutes a legally binding contract between you and Tinos.

Use of the Service implies your full agreement with these terms, as well as with our Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of this contract. If you do not accept these terms in their entirety, you must immediately stop using the Service.

You declare that you are acting in the course of your professional activity, that you are at least 18 years old, and that you have the authority to bind the organization on whose behalf you are subscribing.

2. Description of the service

Tinos is an online service providing an artificial intelligence conversational agent that answers the phone calls of professionals and businesses, 24/7, in place of or to supplement a human telephone reception.

In particular, Tinos offers the following features:

  • Automatic reception and handling of incoming calls by an AI voice agent
  • Qualification of the call (nature of the request, urgency, caller contact details)
  • Appointment booking and routing of the request according to rules defined by the client
  • Asynchronous notification of the professional by SMS and/or email
  • Provision of call transcripts and summaries in the dashboard
  • Writing the request, contact, or time slot into the client’s management tool (CRM, calendar, business software) when the integration is available

We reserve the right to modify, improve, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the Service at any time, with or without notice, for technical, security, or user experience improvement reasons.

3. License to use

Subject to compliance with these Terms, Tinos grants you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable, non-transferable, and non-sublicensable license to access and use the Service in accordance with these Terms.

This license is tied to your account and to the numbers you have configured within it. It grants you no ownership rights over the Service, the voice agent, or any associated element.

It is prohibited to:

  • Modify, decompile, or reverse-engineer the Service or the voice agent
  • Copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works of the Service
  • Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service without written authorization
  • Use the Service for illegal, fraudulent, or immoral purposes
  • Use the Service for unsolicited outbound calls, mass canvassing, or any use contrary to ARCEP rules and the legal framework for prospecting
  • Attempt to bypass security measures or access unauthorized data
  • Use unapproved robots, scripts, or automated means to access the Service

4. Account creation and management

To access the features of the Service, you must create an account by providing a valid email address and a password (or via an identity provider). You warrant the accuracy of this information and undertake to keep it up to date.

You are fully responsible for the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activities carried out under your account. In the event of unauthorized use, you undertake to inform us immediately.

We reserve the right to suspend, deactivate, or delete your account at any time, in particular in the event of a violation of these Terms, abusive use of the Service, or for any other reason we deem legitimate.

5. Plans, payment, and renewal

Tinos is marketed in the form of monthly or annual plans including a quota of processed call minutes. The precise list of plans, quotas, and overage rates is available on the pricing page, which prevails in the event of any discrepancy.

  • Exceeding the included quota may give rise to additional billing according to the conditions displayed on the pricing page.
  • Certain uses that generate a direct cost (in particular the voice transfer of a call to a third-party phone) may be billed as an extra when activated by the client.

Payments are handled by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize the recurring charge according to the periodicity chosen.

Automatic renewal. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each period. The amount is charged to the payment method on file.

Cancellation. You can cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period, during which you retain access to the Service.

Refund. If you are not satisfied with the Service, you can request a refund within 14 days of the subscription or renewal date by contacting us via our contact page. After this period, no refund will be granted.

6. Intellectual property

The Tinos Service and all its elements (interface, design, source code, voice agent scripts and configurations, algorithms, logos, databases) constitute a work protected by copyright, trademark law, and other intellectual property rights belonging exclusively to Tinos.

Any idea, suggestion, feedback, or feature request that you submit to us may be freely used by Tinos with no obligation of compensation.

7. AI agent transparency and regulatory obligations

Tinos is an artificial intelligence system designed to interact vocally with natural persons. In accordance with Article 50 of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 on artificial intelligence (the “AI Act”), applicable as of 2 August 2026, the agent informs callers at the start of the conversation that they are interacting with an artificial intelligence.

  • The client undertakes not to disable, hide, or alter this transparency message, or to configure the agent to falsely present itself as a human being.
  • The client remains responsible for the compliance of its use of the Service with the regulations applicable to its activity (informing callers, recording and retaining conversations, etc.).
  • Tinos provides the tool and the default transparency message; the client remains the principal of the communication established via its number.

7 bis. Numbering and telephone compliance

The Service relies on phone numbers provided or connected via our partner operator. The client acknowledges and accepts that:

  • The AI voice agent operates exclusively on numbers compliant with the ARCEP numbering plan (geographic or national numbers), excluding 06/07 mobile numbers, whose use by an automated system is prohibited.
  • The client warrants that it holds, or is duly authorized to use, the number it connects or ports to the Service.
  • The availability of the Service depends on telecommunications networks and third-party operators whose operation Tinos does not control.

7 ter. Agent limitations and important warning

Tinos implements artificial intelligence models (speech recognition, language models, speech synthesis). The client acknowledges and accepts that:

  • The agent may make errors of interpretation, transcription, or appointment booking, inherent to any automated technology. Tinos does not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of the information collected or returned.
  • The Service does not constitute an emergency service and in no case replaces official emergency numbers (15, 17, 18, 112). The agent is not designed to handle situations involving people’s safety.
  • The client is responsible for defining, testing, and validating the behavior of its agent (script, qualification rules, time slots, routing rules) before any production deployment.
  • The agent provides no medical, legal, financial, or regulatory advice. Any professional response is the sole responsibility of the client.
  • By default, the agent qualifies the call and notifies the professional asynchronously, without a live voice transfer. Voice transfer, when activated, depends on the availability of the recipient and is not guaranteed.

7 quater. Integrations with the client’s management tools

When the client activates an integration allowing Tinos to write contacts, requests, or appointments into its management tool (CRM, calendar, business software), it acknowledges that:

  • The client warrants that it holds the rights and authorizations required to connect this tool and to have data written into it by the Service.
  • The operation of the integration depends on the interfaces (APIs) and the conditions of the third-party publisher, which may change or be discontinued without Tinos being responsible.
  • Tinos does not develop, replace, or manage the third-party tool: it triggers an action in the tool the client already uses.
  • Tinos cannot be held responsible for any data loss, erroneous write, or any malfunction attributable to the third-party tool or to a change in its API.

8. Limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without any express or implied warranty. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we exclude our liability for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the Service, including the loss of a call, a client, or an appointment.

Our total liability shall in no case exceed the sum of the amounts paid by you over the last twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, except in the case of gross or intentional fault by Tinos.

8 bis. Force majeure

Neither party may be held liable for a failure to fulfill its obligations resulting from a force majeure event as defined by French case law, including in particular, without this list being exhaustive: failure or major outage of a critical subcontractor (host, telephone operator, AI model provider, payment provider), massive cyberattack, natural disaster, armed conflict, governmental decision, regulatory restriction, or widespread telecommunications outage.

The party experiencing the event must inform the other as soon as possible and use its best efforts to limit its consequences on the performance of the contract.

9. Indemnification

You undertake to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Tinos, its officers, and its employees from any liability, damage, cost (including reasonable legal fees), and legal action resulting from: (i) your violation of these Terms; (ii) your use of the Service; (iii) any violation of applicable laws in connection with your use of the Service; (iv) any claim by a caller or a third party relating to the content of a conversation, the information provided to individuals, or the processing of their data in connection with your use of the Service.

10. Confidentiality and data protection

The processing of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms. The Service processes call recordings and transcripts, which constitute personal data within the meaning of the GDPR.

In the context of processing calls intended for the client, Tinos acts as a processor within the meaning of the GDPR, and the client acts as a controller. Each party undertakes to comply with its obligations under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 and applicable French laws.

11. Third-party services

The Service relies on third-party services (in particular telephone operators, AI model providers, hosts, payment provider). Tinos assumes no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of these third-party services.

12. Dispute resolution

In the event of a dispute, we favor an amicable resolution. You can contact us via our contact page for any complaint.

Failing amicable resolution within a reasonable time, any dispute falls under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts having jurisdiction over Tinos’s registered office, in France. These Terms are governed by French law.

13. Changes to the Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. In the event of a material change, we will inform you by email or via the dashboard. The last-updated date will be refreshed at the top of this page.

By continuing to use the Service after the changes take effect, you accept the new Terms. Otherwise, you must stop using the Service.

13 bis. Discontinuation of the Service

In the event of the permanent cessation of Tinos’s business or the discontinuation of the Service, Tinos undertakes to:

  • Notify active clients by email at least sixty (60) days before the effective date of discontinuation.
  • Make available an export of the account’s data (configurations, transcripts, contacts) in a structured format during this period.
  • Where applicable, refund on a pro rata basis the prepaid amounts not yet consumed.

Tinos may, at any time and without specific notice, suspend or interrupt the Service for technical, security, or maintenance reasons, provided that such interruptions remain occasional and necessary.

13 ter. Language of the contract

These Terms are drawn up in the French language. Any translation into another language is provided for informational purposes only. In the event of a discrepancy in interpretation, the French version shall prevail.

14. Reference right

Unless you object in writing, you authorize Tinos to mention your name and/or your brand as a reference client on the Tinos website and in its communication materials.
