Team and roles: working together
Updated in October 2026
From the Team plan onwards, Tinos opens up to your whole team, with no limit on headcount. Each person can have their own calendar, their own line and their own dashboard access, with a role that decides what they can change.
One list for the whole team
The Team page, in the main menu, brings together everyone in your workspace. It is reserved for the account holder and administrators.
Each row tells you two things: whether the person has a calendar, meaning they receive appointments, and whether they have access to the dashboard, with their role. The two are linked by their e-mail address.
Each row’s menu lets you edit, enable or remove their calendar, invite them to the dashboard, change their role or remove their access. Before a calendar is removed, its upcoming appointments are handed to a colleague, and its line becomes a shared line again.
Invite a team member
In Team, click Invite a team member, enter their first name, last name and e-mail address, then tick what they will do.
- Receive appointments: they get their own calendar, where your assistant can book appointments.
- Access the dashboard: they receive an e-mail invitation to create their Tinos account, with the chosen role.
Follow an invitation
The invitation link is valid for 7 days. Until it is used, the person’s row shows Pending, then Expired once that period has passed.
Resend the invitation generates a new link and invalidates the previous one. Revoke invitation makes it unusable.
Everyone joins your workspace with their own e-mail address and their own sign-in: nobody shares your credentials.
Four roles, one account holder
You remain the account holder: this status cannot be transferred from the interface. The rule is simple, only the holder pays: subscribing, changing plan, buying or removing a number, all of that is reserved for them, even for an administrator.
The other roles are chosen when inviting and can be changed at any time from the row’s menu.
- Account holder: everything, including subscription, plans and numbers.
- Administrator: everything except billing, team included.
- Editor without a calendar, a front desk for example: manages assistants, knowledge and conversations, and attaches a number to an assistant without being able to buy or remove one. Neither team nor billing.
- Editor with their own calendar, in other words a team member: sees the whole team’s calendars, but only changes their own appointments, their time off and the assistant on their line. Everything else is read-only for them.
- Viewer: read-only. They can still start a test call, which writes nothing.
One line per team member
Each team member can have their own line. In Tools › Phone numbers, open a number’s menu, then Link to a team member: the line becomes theirs, marked with their color on the Phone numbers page and in the assistants list.
On that line, the assistant books appointments in their calendar and sends them the call summaries by default, as long as no recipient is set in the assistant’s notifications.
A number linked to no one is a shared line: the assistant offers the whole team’s slots there, or always those of the same person if you chose so in Calendar › Time off and routing.
A team member with the Editor role sets up the assistant on their line themselves: General (name, voice, language, formal or informal address), Advanced (words to recognize), Phone number (forwarding of their own number), Call transfer and Notifications. Appointments, Texts to your clients, Call playback and Knowledge stay with the account holder and administrators: they do not appear for them.
Calendars, time off and routing
In Calendar, everyone sees the whole team’s calendars and can filter by person. A team member only touches their own: their appointments and their time off.
Time off (holidays, training, meetings) blocks the slots of one person or of the whole team: the assistant offers no appointment there, and it appears hatched in the calendar. Each team member adds and removes their own; the account holder and administrators see all of them.
Who receives which appointment chooses, for each appointment type, the people who take it. If the requested person is fully booked or away, Transfer to a team member gives the appointment to a team member who has the slot, with the caller’s agreement.
In each person’s calendar, the account holder finds their subscription link for Google, Outlook or Apple and their booking page, to pass on to them.
Rights enforced everywhere
Rights are not just displayed, they are enforced at three levels: in the interface, where what does not concern you does not appear, in the server routes, and down to the database.
A forbidden change gets a clear message rather than a silent failure. A member without billing access is pointed to the account holder.
Privacy between colleagues
Sharing a workspace does not mean sharing an identity. Each person keeps their own account, profile and rights over their own personal data.
Account export and deletion, as provided by European regulation, apply to the identity of the person requesting them, never to someone else’s workspace.
On the Solo plan
The Solo plan includes a single calendar and a single access: yours. To add team members, the Team page offers to move to the Team plan.
Team and Scale both accept an unlimited number of people, calendars and accesses.
